Uniform
When students wear a school uniform, they feel included in our school community.
The Crestwood Public School Uniform
The Nankeen Kestrel proudly adorns the crest of our school uniform, accompanied by our inspiring motto: Onwards and Upwards.
The Kestrel represents adaptability and resilience—qualities that resonate deeply with the Crestwood Public School community. We take great pride in wearing our uniform with respect and embodying the spirit that this symbol represents.
There's a special story behind the Kestrel's connection to our school. Before the school was established, the land was open paddocks where, each evening, a Kestrel would swoop down to catch mice and then soar high above the landscape. This image of determination, skill, and rising ever higher perfectly captures the ethos we uphold.
The Kestrel’s journey inspires us all to keep moving onwards and upwards, making it an ideal emblem for our school.
